Tracking your dog’s medication
Kwispel records each dose of your dog’s medication with the medicine’s name, the brand, the dose and the unit: mg, ml, tablets or drops. To be reminded, you create a routine with a set time. The notification can be marked done straight away, or snoozed for 15 minutes or an hour.

How does a medication reminder work?
A routine with a set time
Once, daily, weekly, every N days, weeks or hours, or monthly.
The notification
It names your dog and the routine. A critical medication arrives as a Time Sensitive notification.
Mark done
Or Snooze 15 min, or Snooze 1 hour.
In the log
The dose appears in the calendar and counts towards the vet report.
What can you record for each medicine?
- Name, brand, dose and unitThe unit can be mg, ml, tablets or drops.

- The routine’s scheduleIncluding an end date, extra times and the option Must be given with food.

Where does the next dose appear?
The Up Next card on Home shows what is coming, with a button to mark the dose done there and then. The Up Next widget puts the same information on your Home Screen or Lock Screen, and the medium widget adds a Snooze 15 min button.
Kwispel schedules notifications for the next seven days at a time and tops them up whenever you open the app. The Siri shortcut “Log medication in Kwispel” works in English and logs for the first dog in your pack.
What Kwispel does not do with medication
- This version does not let you record a dose as missed or refused.
- Kwispel does not calculate doses and does not say which medicine or schedule suits your dog.
- Without a set time on the routine, no notification is sent.
